We have seen some very cool videos that range from motorcycles to under an SUV using these mounts and they are amazingly steady thanks to RAM’s anti-vibration technology. RAM’s mounts cost a few dollars more but in our opinion are well worth the premium.
At the heart of these mounts is the RAP-B-202U-GOP1 adapter. The RAP-B-202U-GOP1 consists of a 1″ diameter rubber ball, connected to a custom GoPro adapter. The adapter attaches directly to the under-side of the camera, replacing the factory mounting bracket. This adapter will use the threaded knob included with the GoPro camera.
